Why not walk the coastal path in our lovely spring weather with all the spring flowers now at their best.

The south west coastal path runs for 630 miles and can be broken down into short walks from Harlyn Bay or Padstow we also have the Camel trail for walking or cycling.

Its 9c in Padstow today a bit windy but all the spring flowers are beginning to pop their leaves up even the ones in the ground.

Daffodils

How warm has it been this Christmas in Cornwall, it seems it is warm enough to make the daffodils think its spring, they are all shooting up in the garden and one actually came out for Christmas day for us.

Lets hope it bodes well for a long hot spring and summer in 2018.

Christmas is almost  upon us yet again, we are just making up the beds and putting up the Christmas  decorations for the guests  who are coming to join us for  Christmas and the New Year, some of our Christmas guests have been  coming to us  with all their family for over 20 years, its  quite amazing but you can’t beat a  walk on the beach  after a large lunch.

Padstow is open for business as usual with all the Christmas lights around the town and the harbour it looks lovely.

Why not come and join us one Christmas or New year too.

Padstow Food Festival 7th to 10th December 2018

Why not come and visit us for the Padstow Christmas Food festival, we have apartments available from £65. per night based on 2 people.

The festival brings together top class chefs, local food producers and all sorts of stalls and exhibitors on the harbour at Padstow, now regarded as one of the biggest food festivals in the country.
With two cookery  Marquee where some of the country’s finest chefs will be showing off their culinary skills.   Fans are invited to put questions to the chefs in a festival foodie forum: An Audience with the Chefs. There will also be our new Festival Kitchen theatre showcasing local chefs, the county’s best produce and artisan skills.
More than 100 local producers will be selling an array of gifts and products in our traditional Christmas market, from pies and paintings to jewellery and jams. Ales and ciders from Cornwall’s favourite breweries will also be on offer.
Yuletide entertainment throughout the weekend includes the arrival of Santa on his horse drawn Victorian bus, a spectacular fireworks display, live music, carol concerts and a lantern parade. Join hundreds of festival-goers for Santa’s Fun Run in aid of Cornwall Hospice Care. Runners dressed as Father Christmas will be accompanied by cycling Santa’s who will arrive by bike along the Camel Trail.
